If you’re looking for a wedding venue in French provence, I can suggest you this casual and charming vineyard in French provence. In fact, the old stones building is located on the middle of a vineyard. This wedding venue is really the place to be if you want to realise a casual wedding, with great food and beautiful landscapes.

One of the good point of this wedding venue in French provence is that you can accomodate 10 persons on site and there are hotels not very far from the vineyard. The second good point is that the owners are in charge of the catering and they can create a wedding menu for a very affordable price. As a matter of fact, you can choose among 3 menus between 75€ and 100€ per person. I discovered this very exclusive venue in Paris weeks ago and I have to say that this is an ideal place if you dream of a very intimate wedding in Paris. Indeed, this property is located very closed to the Eiffel Tower : you can see from the gardens and from the terrace. This is so romantic, especially because you can organise an outside ceremony in the gardens !

Anyway, this exclusive venue can be rented only for intimate wedding in Paris. As a matter of fact, the venue can welcome 25 guests for a seated dinner and 50 persons if it’s a finger food dinner. The music must stop at midnight. Consequently this exclusive venue is more appropriate if you want to organise a small event with the closest friends.

The other good points are first, the kindness of the saleswoman. She wants to keep the spirit of this exclusive venue and welcome very elegant events. You’ll be charmed by her help. I am going to explain to you why this new reception room is just perfect if you dream of a wedding in France.

Wedding decor : choose rectangular table

I have to say that this is only my personal opinion, but I love wedding rectangular table. Indeed I think you can create much more original wedding decor with this kind of tables, compared to round tables. Consequently I selected some pictures of wedding decor with rectangular table in order to show you what you can do with it.

Of course, I believe that a wedding rectangular table is adequate with a small wedding. If you have less than 100 guest, the wedding decor with rectangular table is really stunning. if you are more numerous, I advice to stick to round tables.  You don’t have to put too many or too long rectangular tables in your wedding decor. But if you’re 20, one single wedding rectangular table is better than two round ones, according to me. Then, you can create a very casual wedding decor or something much more sophisticated. It’s up to you.

If your wedding takes place outside, in a vineyard, on a beach or just in a garden, rectangular table is a good idea. You can use flowers and colorful table clothes. In my opinion, I think that a lot of small bouquets are better than high vases. Continue reading →

Book in advance your wedding venue in France

My first advice, as a French wedding planner, is to book in advance your wedding venue in France. As a matter of fact, we’re currently receiving some demands for weddings on Summer 2012. I have to tell to most of the bridal couples that 90% of the wedding venues are already booked. Indeed, it’s said in France, that you have to book your wedding venue at least 1 year in advance. Usually the French wedding couples begin to search for the perfect venue 18 months before the wedding day.

So consequently, you’re just on time to organise your wedding in France for May 2013 ! Believe your French wedding planner. I visited last week two beautiful venues, which are fully booked for 2012 and June 2013 is already booked for one venue. The French people love weddings but we also have many foreigners who wish to get married in France. Thus, as there are only 4 Saturday in a month, that’s sometimes complicated to find the right venue for a wedding in France. Book a wedding venue in France can become a nightmare if you’re not in advance.

But if you’re really want to get married in France, just contact your French wedding planner. He or She can have some informations about cancellations or available dates. My advice is also to consider weekdays to organise your wedding. For instance, you can book a wedding venue on a Thursday night. Continue reading →
