Many bridal couples dream of a beach wedding on the French Riviera, but when they think about it, they take into account that sand is not very easy for a wedding reception. Anyway, they want to have a nice seaview for their wedding on the French Riviera, and a beach seems to be the best idea. That’s why today, I want to present you a beautiful wedding venue on the French Riviera, where you can organise your ceremony with amazing seaview, a dinner surronded by the sea and where you can accomodate at least 90 guests ! This beach on the French Riviera belongs to a hotel, located at 20 km from Nice airport. The hotel has 42 bedrooms. You can rent the beach for the wedding dinner and ceremony even if you don’t privatize the hotel. But I am sure that most of your guests will appreciate to sleep closed to the wedding venue ! The beach can welcome 350 persons for a wedding dinner, but I think 150 guests is much better. Indeed, you can use the existing marquee for the wedding dinner and another area on the beach for the aperitive. If you are 350 guests, you’ll need to rent additional marquees !

Wedding signs and words for your decoration

This is a trend in the wedding decoration : bridal couples wish to add more and more wedding signs to decorate the wedding venue and to indicate the different areas to the guests. Indeed, wedding signs can be very useful if you organise everything in the same venue : the ceremony, the aperitive and the dinner. More over, most of the bridal couples organise different entertainments for the guests. It’s good to tell them where the photobooth is, where the candy bar is ….

That’s the reason why wedding signs are becoming a part of the wedding decoration : if you’re in a vintage wedding spirit, wooden panels can be a good idea for instance. Bridal couples tried also to be fun with the wedding signs. I personnaly like the « I do / We did » sign. Indeed, wedding decoration can be done with humour !

Available wedding venue on the French Riviera for Summer 2012

Last Monday, I visited a very new wedding venue on the French Riviera and I am pleased to tell you that some dates are still available for summer 2012 if you want to get married there. The reason is simple : this wedding venue is new on the wedding market, the works to renovated it will be totally terminated at the end of the month. This wedding venue will welcome its first wedding on the French Riviera on June 2012. Anyway, there are many available dates for summer 2012 and of course 2013. But hurry up, this wedding venue is so wonderful that you have to decide quick, even for 2013 !

First of all, this wedding venue is a beautiful property, located at 20 minutes from Nice airport. The landscape and the seaview are just amazing, especially when you are on the main terrace outside the building and in the bridal bedroom. Indeed, this wedding venue on the French Riviera can accomodate 14 people on site. Hotels are very closed more over. There is no limit for the music as you can dance inside. Outside lounge music is allowed until midnight.

So if you dream to get married on summer 2012 or 2013, you can rent this wedding venue and organise the aperitive outside and even the dinner. But in case of bad weather the reception rooms are really beautiful. Continue reading →

Use Toile de Jouy for your wedding decoration

If I suggest you to use Toile de Jouy for your wedding decoration, it’s because Toile de Jouy is a part of the French history and this fabric illustrates the art of French living and the elegance. So that can be a perfect theme for your wedding decoration. My advice is to use Toile de Jouy sparingly !

Indeed, the drawings of Toile de Jouy are numerous and complicated. Too much Toile de Jouy can make your guests suffocate ! On the contrary, if  Toile de Jouy is used by small touches, you can create a very original and classy wedding decoration ! This fabric was first manufactured at a factory located in Jouy-en-Josas, a city closed to Paris, during the late 18th century. It became very famous for decoration and represented the refinement of the French gentry and aristocracy. Drawing of their daily lives were done on this specific fabric (I am not sure you can find wedding scenes anyway!).

Beautiful wedding venue in Avignon

French Provence is a beautiful area especially between June and September. Vineyards, lavender fields, great food, friendly people. If you already knew this area, I think you’ll share my opinion. that’s why, today, I want to present you a charming wedding venue in Avignon, which is perfect for a small wedding (around 60-80 guests), according to me.

Indeed, this beautiful wedding venue in Avignon is an hotel with 31 bedrooms. The price to privatize all the bedrooms is affordable and there are other hotels all around if you have more than 60 guests. Personnaly, I really like the decoration of the bedrooms which is elegant and simple, totally in the new « provençal » spirit.
