Photobooth in a bed : the new wedding trend !

I know that most of the brides want to set up a photobooth for their wedding. So I have to tell them that there is a very new wedding trend for photobooth : taking pictures of your guests in a bed. Thus, the title of your photobooth can be « In bed with + the names of the bride and the groom ». Usually, to create the photobooth, we use an old armchair or a photocabin. Pictures of the guests can be done with a photographer or by the guests themselves. You can provide guests with some accessories in order to create fun pictures and fun messages. That is now an old wedding trend ! Indeed, now if you want to surprise your guests (who know the photobooth concept), you have to set up a bed !!

Wedding signs and words for your decoration

This is a trend in the wedding decoration : bridal couples wish to add more and more wedding signs to decorate the wedding venue and to indicate the different areas to the guests. Indeed, wedding signs can be very useful if you organise everything in the same venue : the ceremony, the aperitive and the dinner. More over, most of the bridal couples organise different entertainments for the guests. It’s good to tell them where the photobooth is, where the candy bar is ….

That’s the reason why wedding signs are becoming a part of the wedding decoration : if you’re in a vintage wedding spirit, wooden panels can be a good idea for instance. Bridal couples tried also to be fun with the wedding signs. I personnaly like the « I do / We did » sign. Indeed, wedding decoration can be done with humour !

Use Toile de Jouy for your wedding decoration

If I suggest you to use Toile de Jouy for your wedding decoration, it’s because Toile de Jouy is a part of the French history and this fabric illustrates the art of French living and the elegance. So that can be a perfect theme for your wedding decoration. My advice is to use Toile de Jouy sparingly !

Indeed, the drawings of Toile de Jouy are numerous and complicated. Too much Toile de Jouy can make your guests suffocate ! On the contrary, if  Toile de Jouy is used by small touches, you can create a very original and classy wedding decoration ! This fabric was first manufactured at a factory located in Jouy-en-Josas, a city closed to Paris, during the late 18th century. It became very famous for decoration and represented the refinement of the French gentry and aristocracy. Drawing of their daily lives were done on this specific fabric (I am not sure you can find wedding scenes anyway!).

Let yourself be seduced by a pink wedding decorations. Spring decor, fresh, soft, romantic, bohemian, rustic and delicious.

The Pink is the symbol of innocence, romance, youth, childhood, gourmandise and sweets. Pink is the color of renewal. The rebirth of nature, spring, happiness, pleasure, joy of life and optimism.

Decline it in the form of delicate flowers and hearts of flowers placed on a white tablecloth, pink can play the show in any decor. Play all its tones and materials, from pale pink to raspberry pink through the fuchsia, purple or mauve.

Wedding decor : choose rectangular table

I have to say that this is only my personal opinion, but I love wedding rectangular table. Indeed I think you can create much more original wedding decor with this kind of tables, compared to round tables. Consequently I selected some pictures of wedding decor with rectangular table in order to show you what you can do with it.

Of course, I believe that a wedding rectangular table is adequate with a small wedding. If you have less than 100 guest, the wedding decor with rectangular table is really stunning. if you are more numerous, I advice to stick to round tables.  You don’t have to put too many or too long rectangular tables in your wedding decor. But if you’re 20, one single wedding rectangular table is better than two round ones, according to me. Then, you can create a very casual wedding decor or something much more sophisticated. It’s up to you.

If your wedding takes place outside, in a vineyard, on a beach or just in a garden, rectangular table is a good idea. You can use flowers and colorful table clothes. In my opinion, I think that a lot of small bouquets are better than high vases. Continue reading →

A very white winter wedding decoration

More and more people are considering winter as a good season to organise a wedding. Indeed, venues are less expensive and guests are happy to come to this original wedding. That’s the reason why today, we focus a little on a very white winter wedding decoration !

Indeed, when I ask my clients what kind of colors or them they wish to have, 90% answer : white !! So when it’s about a winter wedding, white is certainely the favourite color. As far as I am concerned, I usually suggest other colors than white for summer wedding. But for a winter wedding I’ll go for white of course !
