I have to plan a wedding for a French couple in Monaco. They wanted to create a bollywood wedding decoration. So I began to work with my team about this specific decoration and we felt excited. Indeed compared to traditional weddings, planning an Indian wedding is very different. I mean you have to choose different colors : forget about white ! Welcome pink, orange, purple, red, yellow. I would like to share with you my inspirations for this bollywood wedding decoration.
Flowers are also very important in an Indian wedding decoration but they are very different from European wedding. The shapes and the colors are warm. There are many garlands, which are perfect to create easily a decoration.
This is a real traditional art in India. The results looks fabulous and I think we have to use the garlands for our bollywood wedding decoration. I don’t know how exactly yet but this is for me the main point ! It can be done for the cocktail time, or at the entrance of the ceramony area…an original way to welcome guests. Continue reading
