Last but not least, Events & Home consulting presents the latest wedding decoration area of this wonderful wedding on the French Riviera. With the bridal couple, we planned this wedding on the French Riviera as a film with a script. We wanted to surprise the guests step by step and above all to reach the climax at the end in the ball room. p1010930.JPG

 

The ball room was a little bit too much « countryside » for Events & Home consulting. So as a wedding planner on the French Riviera, I designed a totally new and eccentric wedding decoration.

Thus, Events & Home consulting suggested blue lighted furniture to create a specific wedding decoration. Tables and chairs looked like they were made with ice. My job as a wedding planner on the French Riviera is also to advice bridal couples. They agreed when I chose to add pink and purple lights on the walls, the ceiling and on the two massive chimneys. It warmed up the wedding decoration.

 

The main piece of this wedding decoration was the blue lighted bar. The guests of this wedding on the French Riviera were totally amazed of the wedding decoration and congratulated twice the bridal couple. Working as a wedding planner on the French Riviera is an exciting job. At Events & Home consulting, we aim at creating an unique and stunning wedding on the French Riviera each time. So, a part of our job is to suggest decoration and products to our clients. Given the fact that, Events & Home consulting also works for corporate events in France, our teams are aware of any new products in the events market.

 

For this particular wedding on the French Riviera, Events & Home consulting suggested to the bridal couple to make guests dance in another place just after diner. Everybody is curious and when we announced that the party took place somewhere else, all the guests stood up to discover the new room. They went out of the first room by the same way they arrived but the decoration was totally different. Our teams had worked during the dinner to install all the lighting.

 

 

The guests of this wedding on the French Riviera were totally amazed. This decoration was a very good introduction to the specific atmosphere Events & Home consulting designed for the ball room.

Following the latest post, I am going to explain you the set up of a wedding on the French Riviera. Just after, the outside wedding ceremony and the cocktail in the park of the castle, the guests were welcomed in a specific room for diner. The bridal couple asked Events & Home consulting to create a sophisticated and modern wedding decoration for the diner .

 

As a wedding planner on the French Riviera, I suggest them to use only 2 colors for this wedding decoration : white and brown. The white color reflected the romantism of this wedding on the French Riviera. The brown colors added modernism to the wedding decoration. Events & Home consulting also set some amber lights an squared candles.

As a wedding planner on the French Riviera, I have been working a lot this summer to organise wonderful and unique weddings on the French Riviera. In the following 4 posts, I’ll show you the set up of a wedding on the French Riviera.

 

To begin with, the bridal couple has decided to organise an outside wedding ceremony, which is not that easy in France. So the guests were not informed. The meeting point for this wedding on the French Riviera was in front of the chapel of the castle where the event took place.

But in front of the chapel, a gate was decorated with roses and ivy. When the gate opened, the guests discovered an amazing path with bicentenary plane trees. The decorating of this outside wedding ceremony was romantic with 200 white chairs for the guests and transparent chairs (designed by Starck) for the bridal couple and the priest.

Events & Home consulting also added two huge transparent vases (1,20m) with amazing red roses.The path was also covered with red roses petals when the bride arrived. Continue reading →

Gifts for guests

When my clients speak about their ideal wedding on the French Riviera, they often want to make it unforgettable…for them but also for their guests. According to me, as a wedding planner on the French Riviera, it’s important to take into account guests’ expectations and to spoil them. Hence, gifts for guests are significant.

In France, we are used to offer sugared almonds with different colors to guests at a wedding. Little by little, gifts for guests are changing. If you plan to get married on the French Riviera, I can suggest to you some gifts for guests.

For instance, if your wedding on the French Riviera is closed to Grasse, you should offer some small bottles of perfume to your guests. For a wedding on the French Riviera at Nice, I recommend small bottle of olive oil !

Black wedding dresses and black wedding cakes

In everybody’s mind, black is forbidden for a wedding. For many reasons, black is associated with death, sadness or evil. Anyway, others are gritty or scandalous when they plan their wedding. Some brides are in the mood of black wedding dresses. Personnaly, I’ve never organised a wedding on the French Riviera like this but I admit that some black wedding dresses are dashing !

Regarding black wedding cakes, my opinion is in favor of black wedding cakes. Sometimes brides are besotted with white. Some of my clients want to put white everywhere for their weddings on the French Riviera. Black wedding cakes often look better than traditionnal white wedding cake. More over, most of the guests love chocolate !

To conclude, I would say that black can be used for a wedding if you manage to mix it with another color such as white, pink or purple. What about you, would you dare black wedding dresses ?

A French chef for your wedding

If you plan to do your wedding on the French Riviera, there are certainely many reasons why. You may have family or relatives who live on the French Riviera. You may love the landscapes and the sea. Or you may appreciate French cuisine. If you wish to make your wedding on the French Riviera unique and typically French, I suggest you to work with a French chef.

What is so special to hire a French chef for your wedding on the French Riviera ? Evidently , it’s first because of the food. French chef are different from catering companies. The dishes’ list is bound to be very different from other weddings. Secondly, the French chef for your wedding will be present from the very beginning to the end. He or she wears  the so famous and galant white cylindrical hat when he or she come to speak to your guests.

The most beautiful pink wedding I’ve ever seen !

Very often, brides and grooms want to make their wedding different from others.  But they feel puzzled regarding the best decoration for their wedding on the French Riviera or somewhere else ! So I decide to help all my readers by giving them some wedding decoration trends. The first point is to choose the main color of the wedding decoration. Once, you have decided which color you wish …I give you some ideas and wedding decoration trends. Let’s begin with a pink wedding ! 

Obviously first there is the wedding dress. When the wedding decoration is linked with the bride groom …that is perfect ! You don’t need to wear a pink wedding dress. You just need to add accessories like flowers or a specific hairstyle. When I organise a wedding on the French Riviera, I recommend that the groom has got also a colorful discreet accessory (tie or buttonhole for instance).

For the wedding ceremony, Events & Home consulting suggests to mix pink flowers with white, cream or light orange colors. White is for the romantic time, pink refers to love and orange gives light and cheerfulness. Instead of flowers, be inventive and choose stunning items like these pink sunshades !

I am pleased to tell you that French presse wrote about Events & Home consulting.

The review Residences Décoration wrote a very good article on Events & Home consulting. The journalist highlights that Events & Home consulting is very different from other wedding planners. First, because for every wedding, our team works hard to find the best venue, the best wedding decoration, the best entertainments. Every wedding is customised by Events & Home consulting. We never do 2 times the same wedding on the French Riviera.

Secondly, Events & Home consulting is proud to be different from other wedding planners because we don’t ask a global commission on the wedding budget.

Indeed, it doesn’t make sense to ask 10 or 15% on a wedding budget. If you have 100 guests or 400 guests, catering prices are very different of course. But to be honest, the wedding planners job is quite the same. It’s just a way to make money on you and on your wedding on the French Riviera.
