For once, I am not going to present you venues or decoration …I am just going to speak about you, my dear readers. Indeed, there are more and more people who read every day this blog called Weddings on the French Riviera.

Indeed, there are more or less 4400 readers per month which is quite good ! But the best surprise is to see that readers are coming from all over the world : 45% are American, then the second country is United Kingdom and the third one is Canada. Early initiated to dressmaking by her mother, she quickly began in fashioning with the creation of beautiful evening dresses. She was a student in art history, before following Esmod’s lessons for two years. She worked for Thierry Mugler, Galeries Lafayette, Sonia Rykiel, and actually created her own label : Nathalie Durieux . She began with ready-to-wear clothes, to actually devote to wedding gowns creation, her favourite occupation.

As a sincere wedding planner on the French Riviera, I am going to describe to you 7 main venues where your wedding on the French Riviera can takes place. At Events & Home consulting, we aim at creating a unique moment for each wedding. Some venues help us a lot to create an amazing atmosphere. So the first venue, weddings on the French Riviera will present is : Villa Ephrussi de Rothchild.

This romantic and stunning venue on the French Riviera is located in St Jean Cap Ferrat, between Nice and Monaco. It’s a kind of peninsula with a fabulous seaviews on 3 sides. This venue on the French Riviera belongs now to the French government. Mrs Ephrussi de Rothschild offered the villa to France when she died. Once you have decided to get married, you and your boyfriend begin to suffer from stress and strain. Don’t panic ! The most important is to plan your wedding in advance. Weddings on the French Riviera will give you some tips for your wedding schedule.

If you prefer to plan your wedding on your own instead of hiring a wedding planner, you have to take into account this wedding schedule.

Between 12 and 18 months before your wedding, you should :

- choose a date for the wedding day

- find a suitable venue

- know the wedding budget

These points are fundamental to plan your wedding. More over, if you plan to get married on the French Riviera, you must book the venues 18 months in advance. Some venues are really well known ! On the reverse, you may ask a local French wedding planner to find you a wedding venue on the French Riviera that is less known worldwide but very lovely.

Between 6 and 11 months before the wedding day, you will have a lot of work to do ! Indeed, you must :

- book the City Hall

- find the wedding dress

- speak about the wedding contract if it’s necessary

The set up of a wedding on the French Riviera (4/4)

Last but not least, Events & Home consulting presents the latest wedding decoration area of this wonderful wedding on the French Riviera. With the bridal couple, we planned this wedding on the French Riviera as a film with a script. We wanted to surprise the guests step by step and above all to reach the climax at the end in the ball room. p1010930.JPG

 

The ball room was a little bit too much “countryside” for Events & Home consulting. So as a wedding planner on the French Riviera, I designed a totally new and eccentric wedding decoration.

Thus, Events & Home consulting suggested blue lighted furniture to create a specific wedding decoration. Tables and chairs looked like they were made with ice. My job as a wedding planner on the French Riviera is also to advice bridal couples. They agreed when I chose to add pink and purple lights on the walls, the ceiling and on the two massive chimneys. It warmed up the wedding decoration.

 

The main piece of this wedding decoration was the blue lighted bar. The guests of this wedding on the French Riviera were totally amazed of the wedding decoration and congratulated twice the bridal couple. Working as a wedding planner on the French Riviera is an exciting job. At Events & Home consulting, we aim at creating an unique and stunning wedding on the French Riviera each time. So, a part of our job is to suggest decoration and products to our clients. Given the fact that, Events & Home consulting also works for corporate events in France, our teams are aware of any new products in the events market.

 

For this particular wedding on the French Riviera, Events & Home consulting suggested to the bridal couple to make guests dance in another place just after diner. Everybody is curious and when we announced that the party took place somewhere else, all the guests stood up to discover the new room. They went out of the first room by the same way they arrived but the decoration was totally different. Our teams had worked during the dinner to install all the lighting.

 

 

The guests of this wedding on the French Riviera were totally amazed. This decoration was a very good introduction to the specific atmosphere Events & Home consulting designed for the ball room.

Following the latest post, I am going to explain you the set up of a wedding on the French Riviera. Just after, the outside wedding ceremony and the cocktail in the park of the castle, the guests were welcomed in a specific room for diner. The bridal couple asked Events & Home consulting to create a sophisticated and modern wedding decoration for the diner .

 

As a wedding planner on the French Riviera, I suggest them to use only 2 colors for this wedding decoration : white and brown. The white color reflected the romantism of this wedding on the French Riviera. The brown colors added modernism to the wedding decoration. Events & Home consulting also set some amber lights an squared candles.

As a wedding planner on the French Riviera, I have been working a lot this summer to organise wonderful and unique weddings on the French Riviera. In the following 4 posts, I’ll show you the set up of a wedding on the French Riviera.

 

To begin with, the bridal couple has decided to organise an outside wedding ceremony, which is not that easy in France. So the guests were not informed. The meeting point for this wedding on the French Riviera was in front of the chapel of the castle where the event took place.

But in front of the chapel, a gate was decorated with roses and ivy. When the gate opened, the guests discovered an amazing path with bicentenary plane trees. The decorating of this outside wedding ceremony was romantic with 200 white chairs for the guests and transparent chairs (designed by Starck) for the bridal couple and the priest.

Here are some wedding planner advices for my dear readers. As I wrote in my other post about wedding planner advices, I’ll give you some tips to plan your wedding. It’s not only about weddings on the French Riviera !

Once you have found the venue for the wedding, I recommend you to ask for opening and closing times. Some wonderful venues on the French Riviera accept weddings but they don’t want music after midnight. Sometimes, you’ll need to book the entire hotel for 3 nights. On the French Riviera, Le Mas de Pierre or Château Saint Martin do so ! Obviously it would have a huge impact on your wedding budget.

My second tip among my wedding planner advices is to take into account your desire about your wedding. Do you prefer a casual wedding ? Do you want to be closed to the sea if you plan to get married on the French Riviera for instance ? Do you want fireworks ? Do you wish ceremony and celebration in one place ? You should ask the venue for the wedding if they allow everything or what the limitations are.

The third point of my wedding planner advices deals with the wedding ceremony. Do not assume that you can get married where and when you want.
