As a wedding planner on the French Riviera, I have been working a lot this summer to organise wonderful and unique weddings on the French Riviera. In the following 4 posts, I’ll show you the set up of a wedding on the French Riviera.
To begin with, the bridal couple has decided to organise an outside wedding ceremony, which is not that easy in France. So the guests were not informed. The meeting point for this wedding on the French Riviera was in front of the chapel of the castle where the event took place.
But in front of the chapel, a gate was decorated with roses and ivy. When the gate opened, the guests discovered an amazing path with bicentenary plane trees. The decorating of this outside wedding ceremony was romantic with 200 white chairs for the guests and transparent chairs (designed by Starck) for the bridal couple and the priest.
Events & Home consulting also added two huge transparent vases (1,20m) with amazing red roses.The path was also covered with red roses petals when the bride arrived. Continue reading
My second tip among my wedding planner advices is to take into account your desire about your wedding. Do you prefer a casual wedding ? Do you want to be closed to the sea if you plan to get married on the French Riviera for instance ? Do you want fireworks ? Do you wish ceremony and celebration in one place ? You should ask the venue for the wedding if they allow everything or what the limitations are.
Flowers for weddings are a relevant issue. Weddings on the French Riviera will give you a few tips about flowers for weddings. First you have to choose colors and colors have symbolic meanings; but with flowers for weddings, there is an additonnal significance depending on flowers. 
Weddings on the French Riviera regret that purple lilacs aren’t often used : they illustrate strong love. What about lilly flowers ? They stand for pureness. Your wedding bouquet can be really amazing with pink tulip and peony. These flowers for weddings symbolise sincere love. To finish with, white roses are equal to perfect love. 
Blue is a famous color for everything except weddings ! I mean many of us love blue. Anyway regardin wedding decoration, few grooms and brides think about a blue wedding. What a pity !
If you wish to do a blue wedding, I suggest you to use blue for flowers and for linen. Regarding linen, I prefer sky blue table cloth or turquoise with white chairs. Blue and white colors create a summery atmosphere, especially for weddings on the beach. The sea becomes a part of your wedding decoration. As George Clooney uses to say : « What’s else » ! 
To conclude, I would say that black can be used for a wedding if you manage to mix it with another color such as white, pink or purple. What about you, would you dare black wedding dresses ?
The wedding dresses can match with the golden wedding decoration. Matted golden wedding dresses are doubtless majestic. Especially if the bride is brown haired ! She will look like a princess but not in a childish way. Golden wedding dresses are much more mysterious and absolutely sexy ! Glossy golden wedding dresses will give to the bride an exotic or Indian look. Gold is the main point in an Indian wedding.
The guest list will tell you the main stripes of your wedding’s budget. Be aware that feeding your guests is the largest part of your wedding’s budget. You must begin with a detailed guest list. Regarding weddings on the French Riviera, you should take into account that some guests are not going to come beacause French Riviera can be far from where they live. Anyway, I recommend to take into account the maximum number of guests in order to calculate your wedding’s budget. As a matter of fact, if your guest are less numerous at last, you’ll save some money on your wedding’s budget or you could have more money for the wedding decoration.
