As I am the owner of Events & Home consulting, I received few days ago a very kind message from a lovely bridal couple. They asked me to publish their opinion about our work for their wedding. “The service we received from Claire Jollain and Events & Home Consulting was absolutely fantastic. We had looked at several wedding planners in the area but selected Claire because she represented real value for the price and importantly it was also a flat fee, not commission-based as with so many of the others. This meant that Claire listened very carefully to our wishes for the wedding and she then found many great venues and suppliers which were all to our specification and within our budget, leaving us to make the decision of where and who to go with. With my wife-to-be in America and me in the UK, we were worried about how we would effectively arrange a full wedding in France but Claire and her assistant Majura were just brilliant. They were always on hand to answer our phone calls and emails no matter how trivial the subject, they always provided impartial and intelligent advice and constantly kept us updated on progress. As the wedding approached, their organisation was superb and we were able to relax and enjoy having our family and friends around us. On the actual day they set up everything perfectly and were both there making sure everything ran smoothly until the very end (6am!!!).
