First of all, you have to bear in mind that being legally married in France means getting married at the city hall. Religious weddings are not considered as legal weddings in France. Indeed, you have to go to the city hall before doing any religious weddings.
Secondly, being legally married in France means going to the city hall. That also means that outside blessings are not even possible. We can organise blessings on the beach or in a vineyard but they can’t be done by any mayor.
Last but not least, if you’re not French and if you want to get married in a city hall in France, you must proved your French residency at least for 2 months.
